At least, that’s the premise of an advertising stunt launched by Oscar Mayer. The company thinks that its new thick-cut bacon is so good that people will accept it in place of US currency. So Oscar Mayer is sending actor Josh Sankey across the country with 3,000 pounds of bacon in a refrigerated truck. Sankey won’t have a single dollar in his pocket. He’ll have to barter for everything that he needs for the journey with bacon.
